Die Teilnahme am Event ist für Sie kostenfrei. Eine vorherige Anmeldung bis zum 13.11.2022, 12 Uhr ist zwingend erforderlich. Es ist nur eine begrenzte Anzahl an Plätzen verfügbar, daher können pro Idee/Antrag höchstens 2 Personen an dem Workshop teilnehmen. Der Workshop findet in Präsenz statt.

Bitte beachten: Eine erfolgte Registrierung garantiert noch keine Teilnahme am Workshop, da Ihre Idee erst auf Kompatibilität mit dem Business Applications Programme überprüft werden muss. Sie bekommen bis spätestens 14.11.2022 eine Rückmeldung.

Die Europäische Weltraumorganisation (ESA) bietet Unternehmen im Rahmen des Business Applications (BA) Programme Unterstützung und Finanzierung. Es wird die Entwicklung innovativer Anwendungen und Dienste gefördert, die Weltraumdaten und/oder ‑technologien auf unterschiedlichste Weise nutzen, um damit wichtige Probleme unserer Gesellschaft zu lösen. Dies gilt nicht nur für raumfahrtbezogene Konzerne, sondern insbesondere auch für Unternehmen aus anderen Sektoren.

Eigene Ideen können mit der ESA bilateral im Rahmen der „Offenen Ausschreibung“ verhandelt werden. Die Erstellung eines „Activity Pitch Questionnaire“ (APQ) ist hierbei der erste notwendige Schritt im Antragsverfahren, den Bewerber erfolgreich passieren müssen. Die deutsche ESA BA Botschafterin und ihr Team unterstützen Bewerber hierbei und laden Antragsteller daher zum „APQ in a day“-Workshop ein. Der Workshop richtet sich vor allem an KMU und Start-Ups, die in die Zusammenarbeit mit der ESA starten möchten und dabei vor der Erstellung eines APQs stehen. Das Team der deutschen ESA BA Botschafterin unterstützt Sie bei der Erstellung Ihres APQs, gibt kritisches Feedback, bietet die Möglichkeit ihre Idee zu diskutieren und liefert Anregungen und Hilfestellung, um Ihren Antrag zu optimieren. Ziel ist es, am Ende des Tages ein fast fertiges APQ in der Hand zu halten, welches nur noch etwas Feinschliff benötigt, bevor es bei der ESA eingereicht werden kann.

Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung werden:

• wesentliche Fragen rund um das Business Applications Programme beantwortet,
• der Stellenwert des APQs erklärt,
• der Bewerbungsprozess im Rahmen des ESA Business Applications beschrieben,
• Ihre Idee genau unter die Lupe genommen, bilateral diskutiert und das APQ optimiert
• wichtige Inhalte auf interaktive Weise erarbeitet,
• Ihnen Tipps und Feedback mit auf den weiteren Weg gegeben

Voraussetzungen:

• Eine konkrete Projektidee ist bereits vorhanden.
• Die Idee integriert oder basiert auf Raumfahrttechnologien und/oder -daten.
• Erste Gespräche mit potenziellen Kunden wurden bereits geführt.
• Sie füllen den Fragebogen bei der Anmeldung vollständig aus. Dies erlaubt uns eine erste Einschätzung, ob Ihre Idee in das Business Applications Programme der ESA passt.
• Mitzubringen: eigener Laptop/Rechner/Tablet zum Bearbeiten der Idee

An event in the framework of ESA’s Business Applications (BA) Programme

Participation in the event is free-of-charge. Registration until November 13, 12:00 p.m. CEST is mandatory. There is only a limited number of places available, therefore a maximum of 2 persons per idea/application can participate in the workshop, which will take place in person.

Please note: Registration does not guarantee participation in the workshop, as your idea must first be checked for compatibility with the ESA BA Programme. You will receive feedback by November 14 at the latest.

The ESA Business Applications (BA) Programme provides support and funding to companies. It supports the development of innovative applications and services integrating space data and/or technologies in a variety of ways to solve important problems of nowadays society. This applies not only to space-related companies, but especially to companies from other sectors.

Your ideas can be discussed bilaterally with ESA in the framework of the ‘Direct Negotiation’. The preparation of an ‘Activity Pitch Questionnaire’ (APQ) is the first compulsory step in the application process, applicants have to undergo and pass successfully to qualify for the next stage. The German ESA BA Ambassador and her team support applicants in this process and therefore invite candidates to the ‘APQ in a day’ workshop. The workshop is primarily targeted at SMEs and start-ups intending to work with ESA and are about to prepare an APQ. The team of the German ESA BA Ambassador will support you in the development of your APQ, give critical feedback, offer the opportunity to discuss your idea and provide suggestions and assistance to optimize your APQ.  At the end of the day you will end up with an almost completed APQ that only needs fine-tuning before it can be submitted to ESA.

During the event we will:

• answer essential questions on ESA's Business Applications Programme,
• explain the value of the APQ,
• describe the application process,
• bilaterally discuss and examine your idea and optimize your APQ,
• elaborate important content in an interactive way,
• provide tips and feedback

Requirements:

• You already have a concrete project idea.
• Your idea integrates/builds on space technology and/or data.
• You have initiated preliminary discussions with potential customers already.
• You fill in the questionnaire completely during registration for the workshop. This allows us to assess if your idea fits into ESA's Business Applications Programme.
• Please bring your own laptop/computer/tablet to work on the idea.
